Reality TV star & mum-of-three Roxana Moise dies aged 39 after heartbreaking health battle with brain tumour

The TV star had a career as a top handball pro
A ROMANIAN reality TV star and former top athlete has sadly died aged just 39.
Roxana Moise, a former handball pro who later worked as a fitness instructor, shot to fame on the first series of Exatlon Romania, the endurance reality show inspired by the US hit Survivor.

The married mum-of-three was part of the Warriors team that finished fifth in the competition.
Her family has not yet revealed her cause of death.
In recent months, the Romanian athlete had been seen wearing a headscarf over very short hair.
Tributes have poured in, with one friend writing: “You went to heaven after a hard fight and left behind a void that no one can fill.
“You left too soon, but your love, kindness and light will always remain with us.”
Another added: “We climbed the Moldoveanu Peak together, the roof of Romania, without knowing then that that day would remain forever in my heart.
“There, above the world, you smiled with all the light you carried within you.
“You were a rare, kind, gentle and strong woman with a kindness that I have rarely encountered.”
Roxana was forced to quit handball after a leg injury and went on to become a Kangoo Jumps instructor and a sports teacher at a high school in Râmnicu Vâlcea north west of Bucharest.
She later opened her own women only fitness centre in the city.
In her final Facebook post at the end of August, she was pictured smiling with her family.
It follows the tragic passing of British Wildhearts star Scott Sorry from brain cancer last month.
The iconic 90s rock band star, whose real name was Gerard Engelter, sadly passed away on Thursday on October 30, his 47th birthday.
His family shared a heartbreaking tribute to the musician via his Instagram account, which read: “We’re heartbroken to share that Scott Sorry has passed away after a long and incredibly brave fight with brain cancer.

“After being diagnosed with Glioblastoma back in 2018, Scott refused to let it define him.
“He outlived every Doctors expectation, turning months into years, and even made it back to the UK in 2022 for a tour — something that meant the world to him.
“We’re devastated beyond words, but there’s comfort in knowing he’s finally free from pain. His strength, humour, and heart will stay with us forever.”
Another 39-year-old reality TV star, Kelsey Bateman, died unexpectedly earlier this year.
The American rose to fame on the show Rock of Love – a program where 23 women competed to become singer Bret Michaels’ girlfriend.
