Lucky Irish punter bags eye-watering €17million top prize in EuroMillions draw as second winner claims €500k

A LUCKY Irish Lotto punter has scooped up a whopping €17million in tonight’s EuroMillions draw.
While Lotto bosses confirmed the prize had been bagged by an Irish player, the winner’s location is yet to be revealed.
The eye-watering €17million was the jackpot in the main EuroMillions Friday night draw.
The winning numbers pulled were 7, 25, 30, 37, and 41.
And the two lucky star numbers pulled were 5 and 11.
It comes after another Irish punter claimed €250million in a EuroMillions draw back in June.
The staggering prize is the largest ever sum won in Ireland’s Lotto games and is the maximum EuroMillions Jackpot.
Lotto bosses are now urging tonight’s players to check their tickets very carefully, as one ticket is the golden slip to the EuroMillions hall of fame.
The €17million winner will now need to keep their ticket in a safe place and make contact with the National Lottery Prize Claims team as soon as possible.
In total 44,000 players won prizes in tonight’s EuroMillions draw, but it will be that €17million ticket causing a stir for players across the country tonight.
Another Irish player claimed €30,745 in the EuroMillions draw tonight.
The punter matched five numbers to claim the handy €30k boost.
And in the National Lottery Plus draw another player bagged a huge €500,000 tonight.
Draw bosses confirmed the winning ticket was sold online.
The winning numbers pulled were 11, 16, 31, 35 and 38.
And ten more Irish players have claimed a €5,000 prize each in the Ireland Only raffle tonight.
Players can check tickets bought in stores by scanning them on the National Lottery App or in store.
The ticket is the only valid proof of game play so it is crucial to keep it safe.
The National Lottery advise winners to sign the back of their tickets and “put it in a safe place”.
The prize claims team can be contacted on 1800 666 222 and the winner will have 90 days to claim their prize.
