Gardaí had issued an appeal for help tracing a man in his 70s who had been reported missing from his home since yesterday afternoon.
A MISSING PERSON appeal for a man missing in Co Kerry has been stood down after a body was discovered earlier today. 

Gardaí had issued an appeal for help tracing a man in his 70s who had been reported missing from his home since yesterday afternoon.

A spokesperson confirmed today that a body had been discovered. 

“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance,” a statement said.
