Source say they had a huge fight last week
KYLIE Jenner is moving forward with plans to spend Christmas with actor Timothée Chalamet despite him behaving “cold and unavailable” and rumours they’re heading for a split.

The actor, 29, was noticeably absent from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday celebrations last week. 

And they’ve largely kept their romance out of the spotlight in recent months – which is in stark contrast to showy displays of affection during awards season earlier this year.

It’s all led to talk of a possible break-up however, The Sun can reveal that Kylie is planning the holidays and intends to include him in her festive celebrations.

One insider tells The Sun: “My understanding: Kylie is pushing for more, Timothée has been trying to disentangle himself and break up with her.

“But she’s not having it – she is determined to have her Hollywood Star boyfriend, she was awestruck by the elusive and exclusivity of it. 

“Timothée is luke-warm at best, he goes hot & cold on her, when he’s away filming he barely acknowledges her, when he’s in need of a date for a big event then he’s Mr Charming.

“That’s kind of been the pattern these last few months – back at the start of the year when it was Awards season and they were spending so much time together, she was hoping to get a big rock this year. 

“She’s been pushing for more, for them to have holiday plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas – but the more she’s pushing, the more he’s backing away.”

Source say despite Chalamet looking for a way out, it’s not the right time for them to split.

The star is currently filming a third installment of sci-fi fantasy Dune and is set for a big movie release for sports flick Marty Supreme alongside Gwyneth Paltrow in the coming months.

Kylie now wants him to commit to Thanksgiving and Christmas plans, but he is being ‘cold’ and unavailable, leading to a big fight between them just days ago.

The insider continued: “The break-up rumours started because of a big fight last week – she had been getting frustrated over how one-sided. 

“Apparently there was a big conversation with Kris afterwards … 

“Then it was decided that this was not the time for the young star to go creating lots of crazy publicity in his personal life by splitting up with Kylie – as that would be so bad for his career and being taken as a serious actor.

“Kylie is already busy planning her Globes and Oscars outfits next year, as well as Timothee’s Grammy look – she’s got meetings with the stylists teams over the next few weeks and is pulling in some seriously big fashion names. 

“She’s gone full steam ahead into planning again – it’s as if nothing happened and it’s all perfect.

“No one really understands why Kylie is clinging on so much, and where’s it’s going to end up, everyone sees how lonely and anxious she is all the time, she’s always on edge.”

It comes as The U.S. Sun previously reported that many of Timothee’s close friends and family members disapprove of him dating the makeup mogul and mother of two, 27.

His actress sister Pauline has taken public swipes at her – slamming billionaires, extreme wealth and private jets earlier this year.

Meanwhile, the couple were last seen publicly together at a New York Yankees game.

And their lack of affection sparked headlines and Kylie was accused of “looking bored”.

Timothée was then notably absent from Kris’s lavish 70th birthday bash last weekend and when asked about his girlfriend in a recent Vogue interview, the Willy Wonka star claimed “there was nothing to say.”

Another insider told The Sun that Kylie, who has two children with former partner Travis Scott has been described as a “spotlight addict,” which gets “on the nerves” of her boyfriend.

The insider also shared that the actor hasn’t responded to any texts or calls for “weeks,” and although sources stress the relationship isn’t over, the prospects of fixing their problems remain unlikely.

“Never say never,” another source added.

“But he has realised they aren’t on the same page. 

“Something is broken between them.”
