The star was shocked by the doctor’s diagnosis
JOJO Siwa has been rushed to hospital in “excruciating pain”.
The Celebrity Big Brother star was taken to hospital by an ambulance just hours ahead of a planned performance in America.
The singer, 22, revealed she was unable to breathe and “almost blacking out” before her mother called an ambulance.
The star needed her mother’s help to dress before she could be taken to doctors.
She was rushed to hospital in agony where doctors gave her pain relief and a scan that diagnosed the issue.
“We said [to doctors] look, obviously if something is like we, we need emergency surgery wrong or something like, obviously there are other options.
“But there are a lot of people at the Mall Of America waiting and counting on this performance,” she said on TikTok.
The doctors found a cyst on her ovary that had burst.
It was bleeding into her stomach and causing her intense pain, which they issued pain relief for.
But after being given pain relief, JoJo was left “dancing in her hospital bed”.
She was told that the issue would resolve itself and cleared to return to her gig just hours later.
Earlier this week JoJo’s fans were left worried when boyfriend Chris Hughes said he was single on Celebrity MasterChef.
“So, I live on my own,” he admitted in this week’s episode.
“I’ve been single for three years so it’s not like I’m cooking for anyone.
“If I’m just cooking for myself, no one can appreciate it, apart from me.”
Fans flocked to X with their concerns, given the telly personality’s extremely public relationship with Karma hitmaker JoJo, 22.
One posted, “Was this recorded before Chris and jojo got together?
“Cause he just said one day I want to have a GF #celebritymasterchef.”
However fortunately for fans, the couple met while locked down in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April earlier this year, with MasterChef shot before that.
