Roz Purcell has finally revealed when her wedding will take place as she prepares to start planning.
In August 2023, the RTÉ 2FM presenter announced her engagement to her partner, concert and events promoter Zach Desmond.
The couple – who have been in a relationship since 2016 – got engaged during a romantic visit to the Cliffs of Moher.

Ahead of her wedding, Roz has now confirmed that her wedding is only five months away, with the celebration to take place in May.
Taking to her Instagram story, Roz shared a hilarious snap of her looking a tad worried as she wrote: “No now I really need to plan the wedding. 5 months.”
In November, the RTÉ 2FM presenter revealed what her “dream” honeymoon plans would be, saying: “one trip we really want to do, and we’d wait to do it on our honeymoon, and that would be going to New Zealand.”

According to Extra.ie, she stated that her ideal vacation would involve “four or five weeks hiking across New Zealand,” but she hasn’t yet scheduled the time off work.
She confessed that “never really thought about a wedding growing up or exactly what I want,” which meant that she and Zachin could both agree on a “really small wedding.”
“We wanted to do it in Ireland so people wouldn’t have to feel like they had to fly to another country or take up too much of their holiday time to spend the day with us and celebrate.”
“And we’re kind of anti-gifts and all that, because we just don’t need anything, and we’d rather people just be able to not put themselves under pressure.”
