A WOMAN WHO was arrested in connection with the death of Daniel Aruebose has been released without charge.
The woman, aged in her 20s, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and held at a garda station in Dublin.
Gardaí said a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions and that investigations are ongoing.
Daniel, who would have turned eight on 12 December, was last seen alive at his home in the Gallery Apartments in Donabate at the age of three.
Concerns for his welfare were raised to gardaí by the child and family agency Tusla on 29 August.
On 17 September, gardaí recovered the human remains of a child on open ground in Donabate. DNA analysis later confirmed these remains to be those of Daniel.
Following enquiries conducted to date and based on information available, gardaí commenced a homicide investigation on 11 December.
They have spoken to a number of individuals throughout the investigation.
